Twenty-first Letter From American (Re: Your address??)
Yes,
that is the correct address to my home! We are very excited to
receive your gifts.
I will be talking with my class next week about your offers regarding the
weather chart, and
I will tell them that Mr. Shiu is another year older. They will find this funny
because I am another year older, too! We celebrate our birthdays the same month. I was born
2/22/1966.
Although, my friends did not scare me with those funny faces. (smiling)
They are GREAT!

Fifteenth Letter From Taiwan (Weather comparison)
Dear
Mrs. Tina,
We
send you a weather form in order to let “our” students (American students and
Taiwan students) compare the weather of yours and mine. The following words are
the explanation.
第十五封信(天氣比較)
親愛的緹納老師,
我們寄給你一份天氣表格,是為了要使我們的學生(美國學生與台灣學生)比較你們與我們的天氣。以下是說明的文字。
This
form is “our” students’ work. As the date changes, the charging students is changing
, too. For example, the weather of
3/1 is done by the number 1 in 3A and 3b. If the day is a holiday or the
weekend(like March 2and March 3), it’s still charged by number 1. And March 4 is charged by number
4. They measure and observe the weather at 8:00 am ,12:00 am and 8:00 pm.
Everyday the students give the data to their teachers to update it. We plan to
continue this activity for a month. This activity will be continued or not
depends on the situation of “our” students’ works and the progress. Could you
and your students agree to join this weather record with us?
這份表格是我們學生的作業。隨著日期的改變,負責測量溫度的學生也跟著不同。3/1的溫度測量是由三智與三仁的1號負責。如果剛好要測量的日期是假日或週末(例如3/2及3/3),溫度測量仍然是由1號同學負責。3/4則是由4號同學負責。他們在早上8點、中午12點及晚上8點測量與觀察天氣。每天由學生將資料給老師做更新。我們計畫這個活動繼續進行一個月。這項活動是否繼續需視我們的學生完成的成果及過程。請問你與你的學生是否能加入我們這項天氣紀錄的活動?
