Sixth Letter From Taiwan ( Re：Christmas Present)

Merry Christmas! Our American friends. Last week, we had received your wonderful gifts. Everybody had much fun. A girl asked me : “ Teacher, why the color of their eyes are green? ” A boy asked me :“Why don't we go to American by airplane？” Somebody have some interesting questions. After the end of the today's classes, one student took her mother into our classroom. And then she showed "Our American friends" to her mother by your gifts and letter. I think they have "American friends" in their heart. Thank you very much!

聖誕快樂！我們的美國朋友。上星期，我們已收到你們美好的禮物。每個人都很開心。班上一個女孩問我：「老師，為什麼他們的眼睛是綠色的？」另一個男孩問我：「為什麼我們不坐飛機到美國？」有些人有一些有趣的問題。今天放學後，一名學生帶著她的媽媽到我們教室裡來。並且透過你們的禮物及信件，向她的媽媽介紹「我們的美國朋友」。我想，在他們的心中都有「美國朋友」。真的非常感謝你們！

Now let me introduce our sweet, honest, beautiful student teacher. Her name is Ko Bei Min. Since 2001.09, she became one of our members. She is a wonderful teacher. I think you will like her, too. She has written an autobiography to you. (Please read the file: Letter.doc) Bei min sent our gifts to you by air mail yesterday. The post office clerk told her : You will receive them after 3 or 4 days. There is some description to the gifts. (Please read the 〝Letter.doc〞,too.)
