1. hobby [' hɑbɪ] 名：嗜好

What is your hobby?

(你的嗜好是什麼?)

Our sister’s hobby is writing.

(我們姐姐的嗜好是寫作。)

2. surf [sɝf] 動：衝浪

Jack likes to surf with friends at beach.

(傑克喜歡和朋友在海邊衝浪。)

They go surfing every weekend.

(他們每週去衝浪。)

3. quarter [ˋkwɔrtɚ]名：15分鐘，

It is a quarter after one o’clock.

(現在是一點十五分。)

Her sister just ate quarter of pizza.

(她姊姊剛才吃了四分之一的披薩。)

4. salt [sɔlt] 名：鹽 (備註：不可數名詞)

Add some salt on your eggs.

(加一點鹽在你的蛋上。)

5. tidy [' taɪdɪ] 形：整潔的
